For the band
logo task I will create the image in Adobe Illustrator this will allow me to
create dynamic shapes to form an imaginative and appealing logo for the band,
Illustrator’s ability to import images will allow me to import the band’s photo
and incorporate the logo into the image to complete the set task. The logo will
be uploaded as a PNG as it needs to be a bitmap to be incorporated well with
the photo.
Detail can be added or removed from
vector art. Vector illustrations can have their own colour. This allows for
better quality images without considerable change to file size. They do not
loose quality when resized because they are scalable. It is
possible to edit each section separately,
for example, change the shape, colour, size and position.
Bitmap graphics consist of pixels each of which can be
individually changed and edited.
The
builder’s van task will also be created using Adobe Illustrator as the template
image uses Illustrator as its default location. The ability to import images
will also be very useful for adding images that would prove too difficult to draw
into the template without using devices such as drawing tablets.
The nursery
flyer task will be created using Microsoft publisher as it will require much
text so using publisher will be ideal as it offers dynamic customization to
text based work such as varied font styles, colour effects and many customized
layouts.

ReplyDeleteEBI: You realised that for the band photo it would have to be a bitmap but that doesn't mean poor quality. The amount of pixel per inch determines quality as it allows for more detail and colour depth. The logo would have to be created in Adobe Illustrator and inserted as a png file. You should understand why from the table we did earlier in the year.
